Build Size Unlocker Helper#
This tool, when used in combination with the Build Size Unlocker mod, allows for switching the building size limit
between 16x16 blocks and 64x64 blocks at the click of a button!
This includes the painting and erasing sizes as well.
This is extremely useful when building large creations - switch to 64x64 for building the large part,
then switch back to 16x16 for adding smaller details.

How to use#
Download/Preparation#
First, download the Build Size Unlocker mod.
Then, download the Build_Size_Unlocker_Helper.zip file linked above.
Right-click the file and click "open".
Inside should be a file called Build Size Unlocker Helper.exe.
Copy/move this file to a place where you'll find it again.
Now, start Scrap Mechanic and open a world. Make sure to enable the Build Size Unlocker mod in the world.
In the world, place down the Build Size Unlocker part from the mod. It should show a red visualization.
Next, (while the game is running) start the Build Size Unlocker Helper.exe that you copied from the ZIP file earlier.
It should look something like this:
Enabling it#
In the program, click the button on the right, labeled ENABLE.
The text in the center should change to show that the unlock is enabled.
After clicking the ENABLE button, go back to the game and interact with the Build Size Unlocker part
that you placed down earlier.
If everything worked correctly, it should print a success message in the chat and the visualization should turn white.
As a side effect, you can also fly and look like the builder bot from the Challenge Builder game mode.
Disabling it#
This works the same as enabling - the only difference is that you click the DISABLE button instead of ENABLE.
It didn't work/There were errors/etc.#
note
Avoid restarting the helper program while the game is running or restarting the game
while the helper program is running, as this may cause bugs.
All changes made by the helper program are not permanent.
This means that, in the case something goes wrong, simply restarting the game is all it takes
to revert all changes made by the program. No verifying files or similar actions required!
If you get a windows defender/anti-virus warning when opening the helper program, you can safely ignore it.
It appears because the program is "not registered" (I'd have to pay money to register it properly).
If the helper program does not work or shows errors, you can contact me on Discord for help.
Source Code#
The source code for the helper program will be made available once the mod reaches a certain number of users.
